Preschool Graduation #2

Ok - this post is weird - odd sized pictures and double pictures - sorry its late ;)

Look at those cute little graduates.

The traditional hat toss.

Each child got to take one of these home. All the decorations turned out sooo cute. What wonderful moms we had this year.

Yes, I have already sobbed uncontrollably thinking about my sweet little buddy leaving me for the "big school".

Look at that spread.

ABC books - they have worked on all year.

We had a candy shop theme. These were hanging all over the walls.

...and these from the ceiling.

All the preschoolers favorite desserts.

Love that kid.

10 Years Baby!

10 Wonderful Years to this beautiful man! Love him - he is seriously the best husband ever. He is forever trying to be better and more loving and more kind. He always trys to make my day better and tells me I'm beautiful even when its not so true. He loves me and cherishes our marriage and our family and he makes sure that I know it on a daily basis. He spoils me rotten and would do anything to make me happy. When we were married 10 years ago in the Mt. Timpanogas Temple - I never thought I could be happier and more in love than I was at that very moment....but I am.

We dined at our fav restaraunt that we get to go to like once every three years - The Roof. Best food in Utah - definitely. Then we went to Hale Centre Theatre to see Three Muskateers. Very well done. We love to see plays together (again - another thing we rarely get to do.) We had a nice evening together and can't wait for our "alone" trip.
Puerto Vallarta - NO KIDS - Here we come...

Hopefully...

Hopefully...summers here!!! Totally love this season. My fav by far.

We get watermelon and gardens and lots and lots of fresh fruit.

Can you see the love note carved into this watermelon my sweetheart left me?

Ambra's field day. So fun. I'm glad it was fab weather. Its been so cold lately. We were lucky to have a perfect day. Look at her amidst all those boys.

I caught her dancing with a boy in her class - what silly kids.

Kareoke! sp?

Bounce houses and slides. This was by far one of the favorites.

Tug O War

...and the famous dunk tank. I asked Ambra why she wasn't going to do it - she did last year... she said she wasn't up for it.

The end of soccer... we loved watching this little guy play. He was so focused and so awesome. It helps that he is the biggest and baddest on the team because of where his bday falls. This kid scored like 12 goals a game. I felt like Mrs. Incredible when she was like "...slow down - no - speed up - no slow down - just win by a little bit..." - No not really. It really felt great clobbering all the other teams. Loved it.

My bro got a new ride. One of his many cars. This kid has several. The kids loved all taking a ride in it. Josh made sure he "punched" it a few times for us.

Summer here we come...

Talented Mommy...

My mom made the kids these cute hats and jackets. They got them for Easter and we have enjoyed wearing them this spring. The girls look darling in them and Cole loves his cute little hat.

Cole's hat is reversable.

If only...

If only I lived in St. George! I just know I would be more fit and tanner and skinnier. Don't you feel that way when you go there. Just arriving in Red Rock country makes me want to hop on a mountain bike, strap on my hiking shoes and spend time in my swimsuit. I LOVE it there. Would love to live there. Adam's mother lives there and we had a blast spending a few days there a few weeks ago.

Adam was there to help his mother with a project so the kids and I hit the town and did as much playing as possible. We hit the red rocks above St. George Blvd. We love to hike around these. They are mild enough for little ones, yet you get a bit of adventure in.

Don't know who that extra kid is in the middle. He just really wanted to be in our picture.

There are lots of little caves and crevices to find here. We always search for "Jesus's tomb" and the Cave of Wonders. (My kids have named these special places we search for - its like a real live Where's Waldo hunt.)

Love all the splash parks. The one in the middle of town is our favorite. We buy little boats and float them down the river.

That looks very comfortable.

Ambra got glasses!!!

Its her destiny. Daddy's practically blind, and I'm in the four eyes club too. Adam got glasses in third grade, me in seventh, so we weren't surprised when Ambra needed them in the first (we were only hoping to stretch it out a bit longer). She is very excited to have them and to be able to see without squinting.

This pair, we wear for soccer and whenever else she wants to. They are wire rimmed with pink.

These are more of her everyday glasses. She loves these. They are a burgandy brown on the outside with hotpink on the inside. They have little flowers engraved on the sides too. Super cute.

We think she looks darling.

My Idea of Insanity...

So my idea of insanity is spending $40 plus on a stuffed animal. No way, no how! I can definitely think of 2 million other more efficient and productive ways of spending $40.

But alas, my beautiful Ambra is dying to have a Build A Bear experience. Of course I would never foot this ridiculous bill alone so I told her if she saved $20 I would buy the rest (how much can one of these be anyway? I was thinking around $30.)

Saving $20 came alot sooner than I expected (thanks grandma) - and off to the mall we went (she actually saved $25).

She had a blast choosing her bear and all the things that went with it.

She ended up choosing a pink bunny.

Named her Violet...

chose an overpriced fairy costume...

and of course sprung for the sunglasses and shoes.

What a cutie. I'm glad she was able to make a goal and save for something. She is now saving for all the garage saleing we do this summer.
P.S. - (The total definitely came closer to $40 than $30).
