Oopps...

This morning Cole answers my cell phone. He says, " hi dad! whatya doin. I love you dad. Do you miss me? I miss you too. When you come home dad?" He is saying these kinds of things and has about a 3 minute conversation. Finally he says, here talk to mom. I answer the phone and say "Hi honey". The man on the phone says, "Hi Tiffany, this is Dr. Bolinsky." ( Ariah's ear doctor) I about died. " Don't worry, I just reassured your son that I missed him and loved him and asked to talk to mom." Good thing he is so cute.

So true...

So, every single morning Cole is messing around too much and spills his cereal. This seriously happens like every single day. It is getting to be really annoying. This morning was no exception. Cole was standing in his chair, messing around and spilled his cereal. I sighed and said, "Cole - you have got to stop messing around. You spill your cereal every day."
Ambra says, "Mom, your just mad because you have three kids, dads not here, and your by yourself!"

How true that is...

Day Nine and Ten

We drove back to St. George on Saturday. It was sad to leave the ocean (especially because I didn't get to be in very much.) It was even sadder to leave Disneyland. It was soooo much fun. We got to spend mothers day in St. George with Adam's mom, that was nice. Monday was our 8th anniversary. 8 wonderful years. We went hiking with the kids that morning and swimming in the afternoon. THat evening, Adam and I stayed at the Seven Wives Inn. It was so cute! We stayed in the Sarah Suite.

The jacuuzi hot tub was so fun! It was inside a model ford.

My little missionary

So, the other day we were on the way home from the airport and Cole says, Mom- when I get big I'm going on an airplane and I go on my mishun
That's right buddy.
I not need you go wif me mom, I be big when I go on my mishun.
That's right buddy.
Mom if I get owie, I just rub it, I not need you mom - I go on mishun now?
No Colie-you have to be 19 to go. (we counted to 19)
Mom, I don't think I am coming home when I go on mishun.
Why Cole, I love you too much. You have to come home.
No mom, their are a lot of smokers out there. I have to teach them all the gospel.

He rocks! He is going to be a good missionary.

Day Eight

Cole thought it was pretty cool to stand in the O because their is in O in Cole.
We visited both parks this day. We took the same approach as Wednesday and tried to see as many characters and shows and parades as we could. It was soooo fun! This picture was in the Royal Princess Walk. The line wasn't that long, but it took forever!!! I could not believe how long it took. Friday was in absolute chaos with all the people that were there. I thought we were going at a good time of year, but I can't imagine what it would be like if that was not busy.
We stopped to see Merlin do his thing with the sword. I was griping about it because I thought it would be dumb, but he picked our family to pull the sword out. Look how Ambra is looking at him. What a goof.
He made Adam go up first to try the sword. Of course he couldn't do it. He made Adam do all this weird stuff like show his muscles and pucker up for kisses, of course making fun of him the whole time. It was so funny. Adam was not happy he had to go up in front of all those people.

He then called Ambra up and of course she got to pull the sword out successfully. She got crowned queen of the land and got a medal and declaration to take home. The royal family (us) got to be escorted to the front of the ridiculously long line in Peter Pan. Ambra was floating the rest of the day. She would hold out her medal and flash to every one that passed us. She kept saying things like, "I am sooo lucky, huh mom. Your not lucky, I am." "I am totally going to show this to my friends. They are going to to think this is so cool. I might let them wear it for a minute, but I have to think about it." " Here mom, I will let you wear this while we ride Pirates of the Caribean, but you must give it back as soon as we are off." It was so fun to see her having so much fun.

Day Seven

This was another relaxing day by the overcast pool. We were supposed to head to Catalina this day but we couldn't bear the thought of getting up and going early enough to catch the boat over, so we just vegged. That afternoon, we went to Midevil Times. We totally felt Jim Carrey "Red Knight's going down!" Actually, we were on the Red Knight's team. They served us dinner and put on a pretty cool show. The kids thought this was so neat! I could not convince them after this that sword fighting in the car was a little too much.

The princess of the land would give the Knights flowers to give to the fair maidens. Ambra was the first one to get a flower by the Red Knight. She was on cloud nine after this. She really thought she was his special maiden. Cole wanted a flower so bad. We were by the aisle and so every time the Knight would come by with flowers, he would jump out of his seat into the aisle and jump as high as he could. He was screaming and cheering so loud that his voice was hoarse after the show. Everyone around us was looking at us and laughing at how hard this little guy was trying to get the Knight to notice him. The knight stopped and looked at Cole and laughed, but gave the flower to a 40 year old sitting in front of us!!! I was so sad! The air went out of Cole and he looked at me with those big blue eyes and said "Mom, how come he not give me a fower - I was yelling so loud?" That dang knight! Give my boy a flower! My heart broke in two that moment.
We trashed the kids almost every day. We had to wheel them in on luggage carts to our room every night they were so tired.

Day Six

Oh this day was so much fun!!! We were so nervous because our first day was so tiresome, but this day we did it a little differently. We took time for all the parades, and shows and characters. We got the kids autograph books and they absolutely loved meeting all the characters. I learned that once you stand in line, it really doesn't take that long for your turn. The shows and parades are amazing! Disney really pulls out all the stops. We saw Alladin, and we were in California Adventure for most of the day. I had never done this park before. It was really fun. The kids loved the Brother Bear play area the best.
This was the Bug's Life show in Bug land. What a cute little show. It plays every nine minutes and it was Adam's favorite part about the entire Disney experience. It is a 4D show. A little scary at times for little ones, but totally worth it.

We asked the kids each day what dream they wanted to come true that day in Disneyland. This day it was having their faces painted. Don't they look so cute!

Till next time...

I am going to have to stop blogging. It is 11:30 and I am tired. I still have five more days to post so till then...

Day Five

After our exhausting, but fun day at Disneyland (we could say that after we woke up the next day) we just kicked it at the resort. We could walk to the beach so we did. It was perfect weather for Disneyland, but not so perfect for the beach. You can probably tell by the jackets we are wearing. I definitely did not get my fill of the beach. My dreams of boogey boarding and body surfing were definitely not fulfilled. My feet and legs were cramping it was so cold in that ocean.

Ambra was sport enough to let us bury her. I wanted to make her look like a mermaid, but she was moving to much. She thought this was pretty fun, and had even more fun playing sand monster when she got up.

When we were done, we went home for naps and swimming in the HEATED pool and then had a little pizza party with the kids.

Day Four

Miss Ambra wore her snow white costume and Cole wore his King costume. We were so looking forward to characters walking around, but were sorely dissapointed with the long lines to see them. We haven't been in a long long time and last time I went was without children and didn't really care about the characters. We only got to see Jasmine from a distance this day.

The kids loved the petting zoo.

This was our first day in Disneyland and we drove it hard. There is so much to do and see and so much excitement. The kids had a blast and loved every minute and every ride. They were naive enough at this point that I was able to get them on rides like Splash mountain and Indiana Jones and Big Thunder Mountain, they both said they enjoyed Splash Mountain but I couldn't get them to go a second time. Cole was pretty ticked off we took him to Big Thunder Mountain. This was the first roller coaster of his little life and I'm sure the last for awhile.
By the end of the day Adam and I were wondering what we had done. We bought 3 day hoppers and after 10 hours of driving everyone hard, we had bratty, onry kids and we were completely exhausted. Another day of Disney sounded nightmareish and I just knew I would not be making it to Lagoon this year. Good thing they close at eight on Mondays.

Day Three

It is terrible that I don't have any pictures of this day. We went to visit family in Long Beach. Adam's great Uncle Nile and Aunt Char live there. We went to church with them and had dinner at their house. Their daughter Debra came to visit also. It was nice to have a restful Sabaath after such a long trip.

Day Two

We traveled to California this day. Ariah didn't do so hot this time. She was pretty dang sick of the car by about hour 3. We stopped at the State Line in Nevada and had lunch and did all those rides they have at Buffalo Bills. The kids thought all the casino lights were pretty exciting.

All they could talk about was swimming when we got there, so we put on our gear and headed to the pool. This was a nice time to get thier car wiggles out. Ariah was not diggin the pool. She was an onry little one until she got a decent nap.

Our California Vacation: Day One

We traveled to St. George on Friday May, 2. Iwas so worried about Miss Ariah - she starts squealing like a pig after 10 minutes, but she did pretty well. The kids are always perfect little angels as long as they are watching a movie.

We got to St. George in the afternoon and got to play around. Adam taught the kids how to steer the wagon down a hill. They thought this was pretty cool. Grandma's house is always fun, there are always new surprises.
