Spiderman Party

Cole loves spiderman and got so many spiderman things for Christmas from us and his Grandma. The day after Christmas, Glenda planned a spiderman party for Cole with all his cool spiderman stuff. He had plates, and napkins and even a spiderman cake!! She got pizza and it was a fun little party. What a cute little memory.

Christmas Time!!!

Aren't these gorgeous! Adam sent me these flowers from a far away place. It was so nice to have them on my table through December to remind me of how much he loves his family.

Santa brought Ambra tinkerbelle!!

Christmas Day!!

Ariah got some links toys from Santa.
Grandma (my mom) made this for Cole. It matches his fireman room. Isn't it darling.
Ariah really enjoyed the raspberry jello.

Ethan (Adam's brother) opening his stocking from Santa.

Happy Holidays!!

This was our Christmas eve breakfast table.
My three cute kids! Cole got cords and a snowman sweater vest. He loves frosty the snowman because his eyes are made out of Cole!!!
This was our Christmas dinner table.
Glenda came with a cute game called the snowflake game. We all ended up with cotton balls lotioned to our face. The person with the most balls wins. The children thought this was hilarious. It was a pretty funny game.

Family

Doesn't she look darling!!! Our little Christmas baby.
This is Ariah's Christmas dress. I was having such a hard time finding matching dresses for the girls, and Glenda found some very classy ones at a little boutique in American Fork. They looked beautiful.
We were so glad Adam got to come home. He was home for an entire week. It was wonderful. Everything is better when Adam is home.
We had my grandmother over for Ambra's fifth birthday.
Aren't they darling in their little matching dresses.

Tea Party!!

We had a real live tea party with Princess Belle's (Ambra) own castle cake. Yes, everyone it was my first time actually making the birthday cake and yes it looks a little funny. It's ok, the girls are only 4 and 5. They thought it was really cool. Yes, this is my for real china. Cinderella (me) gave everyone a lesson on princess ettiqutte before I let them loose on this. They all used their best princess manners and nothing was broken.
My mom (Grandma and King Cole.
Grandma loved holding our little Ariah.
Ambra was spoiled rotten by her friends and family. She got so many cute little toys. She is having so much fun playing with them. Girls are soooooo fun to shop for. Way easier than boys (in my opinion at least). Maybe thats because I am a girl.

Princess Party!!

We had a princess party for our newest little 5 year old. It was so much fun! Each of the little princesses took a picture with the birthday girl. We will send them a thank you on the back of their picture. These are their little wands before they decorated them with sequins and ribbons. This day was surprisingly emotional for me. My baby is 5! My control is being relinquished slowly. Soon she will go to kindergarten and no longer will I choose her friends and play dates and everything for her. She won't be so sheltered. It is really scary to me. My sweet little Ambra being released into this world. I am a dork I know, but it really is scary!
Since my little Cole was the only boy, he of course had to be prince charming. Isn't he darling! He doesn't mind all the pink and glitz - he is surrounded by it daily.
We had the little princesses take turns kissing a frog blindfolded. We put lipstick on them, and had them turn that frog into a prince. The closest one to his froggy little lips got a prize.
The host cinderella (me) putting lipstick on our little island princess.
We are making our wands. They turned out soooo cute. They loved doing them.

The Lights at Temple Square!

We have a Christmas tradition with Christmas socks. Everyday starting December 1st, the children wake up and get to pick a sock and inside the sock is something fun. It could be a treat or make a Christmas craft, or go to a movie, or sledding, or...temple square. Well for some reason the children kept picking the sock that we got to go to temple square and I kept making them put it back and choose another because we were going to pick that sock when daddy was home. Well daddy finally got home (after two weeks of not seeing him) and we made sure to go to temple square with the children. My brother Josh came with us. It was his birthday and he had come up for dinner. It was beautiful as usual and the children enjoyed seeing the Christus and being so close to the temple.

Ambra thinks it's really cool to eat snow. We keep reminding her to stay away from the yellow kind.

He's still single ladies. Post your numbers and lets get this guy a date! He's hot stuff.

Thanksgiving 2007

Isn't this coat darling! My mom got it for Ambra. I made her give it to her early since it was for her birthday.
We went up to my mom's for Thanksgiving. We weren't sure Adam was going to be able to join us or not. (This new company is a little ridiculous and very last minute). I fasted the week before that Adam would be able to join us because chances were very slim. We of course didn't find out till the last minute (Wednesday at 4) that he was going to be able to come home. There were 16 in his training group and 10 were sent out. Adam was one of the 6 remaining. By all rights and purposes he should have gone because he has a passport and he has been with the company the longest, but the Lord sent him home. It was so rejuvenating for me to have him for 3 whole days! (For those of you that don't know, he is a business consultant for GSM and travels 52 weeks a year Sunday through Friday. Yes I know we are crazy, but it is what we are supposed to being doing for now. Hopefully he will learn what he needs to learn quickly and will have an opportunity to come home to us again.) Anyway, it was a miracle because of my fast that we got to have him for the holiday.

This picture says it all doesn't it? Lots of food, stuffed, and as always, we ate too much.

Bath Time

Bath time used to be Adam's job before he started his new job and is traveling always. It is now officially my job and I am not too happy about it, but it is what it is. They're pretty cute in their little hooded towels that Grandma Hacker made for them. Bath time consists of all three kids being corraled in the tub together. They all get their scrubbings and then Ambra and Cole get toweled and sent off the put jammies on and brush themselves. Ariah of course gets helped with all that from mom. If all this is done and they are in bed before 8:00, they get story time. 8:01 comes and mom clocks out. Scripture study is done before bath time with daddy on the phone. We of course have to start this routine around 7:00 so that mom can make sure she gets enough "quiet" time without 3 sweet children.

Little Miss Ariah

Is she not the cutest thing you've ever seen! This crocheted dress is one my mom had made for Ambra as a baby. The little hat Adam's mom gave us 4 years later for Ariah. The matched perfectly. Whenever I have her in it for church, it is definitely a compliment magnet. Of course I love that!
