My sensitive little Colie

Happy Happy V Day
My kids have been asking about Valentines day since January. We saw princess and spider man valentines one day and that was it. Every day I had to tell them how many more nights we had to go to bed before we could give out our Valentines (that I insisted we wait until Feb 1st to fill out). My goodness we have been ready for this day for along time. They spent hours writing their names and thier friends names on the cards. Ambra takes such pride and satisfaction in knowing how to do this and it was a time that I could spend with Cole working on his name and tracing his friends names. ONce those were done, we spent the other 14 days making valentines out of doileys and construction paper. They love to be crafty. When daddy came home we posted them all over the kitchen when you walk in from the garage and gave him a "heart attack". We also made big huge heart cookies that were all decked out with everyones names and of course a disgusting amount of sprinkles and candy hearts.
The kids got sandals this year for thier little Valentine. I hit a killer deal at Shopko payless and got 5 pairs of shoes for 23 bucks. I love to get deals like that.
My mom made these adorable little jackets and hats for the girls. The jackets are matching and the hats match except for Ariahs is green. THey look cute in them.
Colie was a lucky little ducky and got spiderman gear from both is grandmas. My mom sent him this cute little outfit and Adam's mom sent him a spiderman swimsuit. What a spoiled kid. So many people to love him. I didn't turn this picture. Sorry, I didn't realize it until it was posted. This is the little hat my mom made. She is eating one of the suckers from Sees that Adam had delivered.
The kids got thier Valentine from Grandma Hacker the day before V day. They were thrilled with all the fun stuff inside. Ambra got this extra sparkly jacket (anything sparkly is a hit. She wears it everywhere) and Cole got a swimsuit. Ariah got bibs and everyone got enough candy for a sugar high. Valentines is such a cute holiday. Fun to send thigns to those you love.

My Dream Come True
My dream come true!! The only thing I wanted for Valentines Day was for my sweetheart to be home. I am only getting to see him about every other weekend right now and it is horrible!! We both can't wait until the time is right to quit this silly job that keeps my adorable Valentine away from home so much. THe time isn't right yet, but hopefully soon. He flew in Valentines morning and got to stay home for 29 hours. He had chocolates, a card and flowers delivered to the house just in case he wasn't going to be home, so I got doubly spoiled. We spent the day with the kids adn then went on a date that night. We had so much fun! We went over to the Speed Street where you get to race go carts. Wow, those aren't like any go cart I've ever done. They are really fast. Then we went over to the new Ogden Megaplex and did the I Fly skydiving thing. THat was cool! I got a video of my flying in the skydiving wind tunnel. It feels really weird and your cheeks flop around in the wind. I look pretty silly in all that skydiving gear. I wasn't very good at it. Maybe I'll do better next time. We ended the night at the Pie and I think I gained about 5 pounds. Seriously!! Anyway, it was wonderful to be with my sweetheart. This whole traveling thing is not getting easier. It is definitley getting harder.
THese next couple of pictures we let Cole take. Some are ok, some not so much.

Isn't this funny!
I tried this twice with each child with different pictures on the look a like meter, and it said the same thing. This was so easy. It was really fun to do. Funny.

Our prophet
Every night at scripture study, Colie always says to me, " our pohpet died. You sad mom." "Yes Cole I miss him very much." "It's ok mom, we get new one."
