Hangin with the little guy

Pet Shop Picnic

I told Ariah to get ready for a "pet shop picnic". I thought she would love this since she is sooooo into pet shops, but she surprised me with, "no I don't really feel like it - lets color instead." Ok we colored our little hearts out.

4 year old cuisine - Love it.

What do you spend your Saturdays doing??

Well I spend mine at these cute little buggers games. 3 games every Saturday makes for a busy morning and sometimes afternoon. Unfortunately we have had overlapped games every week. Sad!!! I love watching these guys.

Ariah's games are always good for a laugh. You here things like, "Stop hugging and kick the ball', and "good job kicking it in the goal, next time try to kick it in the other goal!". Only in 4 year old girl soccer. Love it! - Oh and where else to you get team names like The Unicorn Ponies.

Love those puppy ears flapping in the wind.

Biggest fans!

Ambra's games are serious business, and so fun to be at. Full on soccer and competition. Love it.

...and this little guy is a super player! Full on! He has so much energy and is sooooo fast. Watch out for Cole because he will run you over if you are in the way of him and the ball.

Freaky Friday!!

We had so many tickets left over from this carnival, I have instituted a way to use them every week - its been a great management tool. Every Friday is Freaky Friday. If the kids have 10 tickets, they can turn them in and join in a fun activity. They get tickets for being exceptional (which they often - now I get to reward them for it). They also get tickets taken from them for being not so exceptional (which also happens often).

This Friday, we did sleep out in a tent. They had such a blast.

...so after they went to sleep, I carried them inside one by one. I don't think I could sleep leaving them outside all by their onesies. The fun part is before you fall asleep right?? Anyway, they have LOVVVEED doing these Freaky Fridays...and yes I am a stickler on the 10 tickets and yes, a child has had to miss the fun for not having enough.

Love these kids.

STEP RIGHT UP...

Step right up and have a ball...at Cole's 7th Carnival Party!!

This party was THE funnest ever! The kids had an absolute blast.

Ambra and Cole had so much fun preparing all the signs for our carnival.

...for this birthday boy!

Happy 7th Birthday my sweet, generous, caring, boy.

Adam thought is was a good idea to share his licorice with Caleb...I'm sure he appreciates that at 3 months :)

We had "ballons, games and even more...dinner, prizes and fun galore! Face painting was a fun one, especially when they got 5 tickets for each picture painted.

...scoring on the prize table was so much fun. We were cleaned out by the end of the party. I think the top ticket holder was at 137 tickets.

For "clothespin drop", you had to stand on a chair and drop clothespins into small openings in vases. Trickier than it sounds.

Blindfolded, you "catch" sharks for 3 tickets, fish for 2 or a boot for 0!

Ball Toss Bonanza included tossing ping pong balls into tumblers. In the bottom of the glasses were color coded circles...red=1ticket, yellow=2 and blue=3. The top score with 5 balls in one turn was 11 tickets.

For "Spray Away", you had to shoot a pingpong balls with your water gun. Tickets=the amount of balls you "spray away".

...and good ol'' pin the nose on the clown got altered by throwing a wet sponge at his nose. We had some pretty high scorers here. Had to keep moving the target back.

Cole loves starwars, legos, and harry potter. He got lots of it :)

Such a blast. Definitley a do again kind of party ;)
